Atlantic "F-18" Bianco (White), 'Convected Heat' Electric Heater
  • "F18" from Atlantic Group in France is an entry level electric convector heater.
  • Nearly all radiators installed in France are electric, due to the country's investments in nuclear power, therefore French producer, Atlantic have developed a stand out range of electric radiators for use in its native country where electric dominates.
  • Geyser is proud to offer 5 ranges of Atlantic electric radiator. Here they are ordered from basic to most advanced:
      1. F18 (basic convector heater)
      2. Tatou (radiant heat diffuser)
      3. Oniris (aluminium heat panel)
      4. Galapagos (oil filled)
      5. Maradja (cast iron heat exchange)
  • One of the joys with this offering is you can mix and match different ranges in different rooms.
  • Note: F18 does not feature Smartphone/Cozytouch compatibility but all other models are fully compatible (see notes further below on Smartphone/Cozytouch).
  • "Convector" heaters work by convecting warm air up into your room through the vents located on top of the unit. They pull cold air in at the bottom, heat this up and project the warm air out at the top. Convection heaters are the standard functional heating you'll find in all apartment buildings or houses without a central heating system.
  • Convection provides super efficient heat up times, quickly transferring your room from cold to warm.
  • Compared with the "Neo" convector heater product we also sell, "F18" is a much more substantial product which has a more durable heating element inside (as oppose to just a heating wire as contained inside the "Neo" product).
  • "F18" is the perfect electric radiator for conservatories, spare bedrooms or rooms used less often where you want something which will heat up very quickly and you'll feel the heat circulating in the air.
  • "F18" is commonly found in commercial properties such as offices, shops and business units.
  • Some electric only radiators can look very industrial, like a commodity product, but "F18" has a very solid construction.
  • We offer three Heights of F18 (all of which can be found in the landscape radiators category):
    • Plinth (250mm High)
    • Standard (450mm High)
    • High (670mm High)
  • Convector heaters are slightly more expensive to run than other radiant and convection combination models. They will still regulate the heat to achieve the chosen temperature so aren't continually consuming energy.
  • For this reason these are best suited to rooms used less often and not all of the time.
  • "F18" do not feature any form of open window detection.
  • The heaters include an electronic thermostat with up to up to 10 degrees temperature reduction (cutback mode) from the chosen comfort level for unoccupied room heating.
  • Note: If you want more advanced timer control we suggest you purchase our external 7 day pre programmable timer which can then be set as required and offers up to 28 blocks of time over a 7 day period.
  • Note: There is a device for "F18" available called "Chronopass" which is approx 60-90 and is primarily a timer function which slides onto the back of the "F18". We don't offer "Chronopass" here at Geyser as our external timer is approx 35-50 and provides the overall same functionality.
  • "F18" units do not offer any form of wireless, infrared or radio frequency operation.
  • For these added benefits you'll need to look at one of more advanced electric radiator ranges on offer.
  • "F18" does not offer any form of connectivity between units and they will all work separately to one another.
  • The units are supplied without a plug on the end and should be wired into a Switched Fused Spur.
  • These units are "Class 2" electric products (just like a lawnmower or hand power drill) which means they are double insulated and don't require earthing like Class 1 products do. This means there is no earth wire coming from the unit, just the standard blue and brown wires.
  • Note: These heaters must not have clothes placed on them and need to be free from obstructions being placed directly in front of them, to allow them to work efficiently.
  • All "F18" units are landscape (horizontal) and cannot be installed as portrait (vertically).
  • These radiators are much more efficient than "storage heaters" and many customers are replacing storage heaters with these devices to save on energy bills and for better performance electric heating.
